Students of the Department of Law, Lutsk National Technical University, had the opportunity to join a guest lecture by Enrico Albanesi, Associate Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Genoa, "Legal Mechanisms for Environmental Protection in the EU: Procedures for Considering Cases of Violation of Environmental Legislation."

Enrico Albanesi is an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law, Department of Law, University of Genoa, researcher and Co-leader of the IALS Law Reform Project based at the Institute for Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) at the University of London.
This lecture was devoted to both theoretical and practical development and resolution of environmental issues within the framework of International Law and the law of the countries of the European continent, in particular. In addition, the entire structure of EU institutions directly related to this issue was considered: from the European Parliament to the European Court of Human Rights. The functioning of these bodies and the mechanisms of influence and regulation of environmental relations within the framework of EU law were also brought to the general public's attention.

This event was organised by Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University as part of the RE-GREEN Project (Advancing European Green Deal Implementation in Ukraine), co-funded by the European Union.
Thanks to the cooperation of Professor Alla Zemko of the LNTU Department of Law and the Department of Environmental Law of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, we had a fantastic opportunity to join this lecture.

We sincerely thank Dr Enrico Albanesi for a meaningful and engaging lecture. We would also like to express our gratitude to the organisers for this event and for creating an opportunity for students to gain valuable knowledge, which is especially important in the context of Ukraine's European integration.
