As part of the international project ConstructHerFuture, on May 14, the Department of Construction and Civil Engineering of LNTU hosted a guest lecture for construction students and architects on the topic "Communication in Construction. The Power of Words in Action".

The event's speaker was Tatyana Kofler, a BCI Department graduate who founded "Zodczi Projekt" in Warsaw (Poland). In her speech, she shared her practical experience and paid special attention to the importance of soft skills in implementing construction projects.

Several important topics were discussed:

• participants in the construction process and their tasks;
• how the team works and does not work (using examples from real objects);
• the path "from theory to action";
• the importance of professional reputation and effective networking.

An interesting accent was the speaker's international experience. She said she took the first steps in this direction while studying at LNTU, participating in a semester exchange at the Lublin Polytechnic University (Poland).

Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions, and received detailed answers. Thank you for the inspiration, experience and motivation! Such meetings are an essential step in the professional development of our students.
