From June 5 to 8, the Head of the LNTU International Relations Office, Tetiana Korneiko, took part in the short-term mobility program at the Kaunas University of Technology and the Forum of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities.
This event was part of the "ECIU4Ukraine vol.2" project of the "Solidarity with Ukraine" programme financed by NAWA (National Agency for Academic Exchanges) and held in Kaunas, Lithuania.
Tetiana Korneiko participated in various activities at the Forum. She attended numerous parallel sessions, including discussions on humanities engineering for sustainable development and university impact within the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU). Tatiana also participated in the discussions on the role of libraries in University Alliances and the use of practical tools for the educational process.
The second day of the Forum was filled with sessions on multicultural education, bioprocessing for the circular economy, role-playing in energy management education and green mobility. In addition, Tetiana Korneiko attended the awarding ceremony of the ECIU Team Impact Award winners.
In conclusion, the Head of the International Relations Office expressed her gratitude to the organisers for the opportunity to exchange experience with leading specialists worldwide and for supporting innovative approaches in higher education. She emphasised the importance of such activities and events for developing international cooperation and joint work on solving the global challenges of our time.
