On May 10–11, the LNTU team actively participated in #NOVAdays2025 – International Summit of Ukrainian and Hungarian Youth, which was held at the European Youth Centre Budapest, an educational centre of the Council of Europe.
The head of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students and Young Scientists of LNTU – Dominika Riznyk and the deputy head – Daryna Kovalchuk were active members in the International Summit of Ukrainian and Hungarian Youth #NOVAdays2025.

The students represented LNTU at the international level and participated in discussions and panel discussions on youth policy, intercultural interaction, and the role of youth in bilateral cooperation.
The main organiser of the International Summit of Ukrainian and Hungarian Youth – The European Youth Centre Budapest is a residential educational establishment of the Council of Europe. The summit's goal is to introduce the youth of both countries, establish effective communication, establish friendly ties and overcome stereotypes.

The program of the International Summit of Ukrainian and Hungarian Youth included:

  • Visit to the Hungarian Parliament
  • Panel discussions with experts and representatives of parliaments, youth organisations and religious communities
  • Speeches by participants from Ukraine, Hungary and other countries of the region
  • Flash mob "VYSHYVANKA" and participation in Europe Day

Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, the Hungarian government, and the leadership of the state self-government of Ukrainians in Hungary, along with students, attended the event.

The panel discussions were especially valuable for LNTU students:

  • "The role of national minority youth in public life"
  • "Opportunities for cooperation between internally displaced persons and local youth"
  • "The role of the church and spiritual life in the youth environment"
  • "How the role of youth organisations is changing in modern realities"

Students are sincerely grateful to the organisers for the opportunity to be part of this unique international dialogue: "We believe in the power of youth as a driving force for positive societal change!"
