The COST Programme is a funding instrument of the European Commission aimed at strengthening scientific partnerships and collaboration in specific or interdisciplinary research areas.
COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is an interdisciplinary research network that gathers researchers and innovators to explore a chosen topic over four years.
The programme typically involves participants from academia, small and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, and other relevant organisations or stakeholders. It is open to all fields of science and technology, including emerging and novel areas. It provides an inclusive, pan-European environment for individuals at all career stages to develop their professional research networks and advance their careers.
