Erasmus+ KA153-YOU "VolunteerVista: Empowering Youth, Transforming Communities" has been accepted by the Turkish National Agency.
Scope: Supporting the mobility of youth workers to address current challenges in the volunteering sector and to enhance the personal and professional development of young people.
Key objectives include:
- Highlighting the value of volunteering in skill development and employability
- Increasing the participation of disadvantaged youth in volunteering
- Enhancing youth workers' capacity to develop inclusive and impactful volunteering projects
- Supporting NGOs in digitalisation and inclusion efforts
- Promoting the recognition of volunteering as a career-building tool

The project aims to increase inclusivity and accessibility in orienteering sports for young people with different abilities.
Project Goals:
• Design and implement accessible orienteering activities – Create an inclusive environment with activities that ensure safe and full participation for everyone.
• Support the professional development of youth workers and volunteers – Equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to design, implement, and evaluate inclusive outdoor activities.
• Develop social skills using non-formal education methods – Strengthen leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills through role-playing, simulations, and group discussions.
• Promote intercultural understanding and cooperation – Create idea exchange and mutual learning processes by bringing together individuals from different institutional and cultural backgrounds.

The Project The main project goals:

Each partner will send 8 people who must be at least 18 years old. There is no upper age limit.
Participants must be employees or students who are interested in cross-country cultures and games, participate in projects as active volunteers.
Financial conditions:
Accommodation and meals: Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme.
Travel costs are budgeted according to Erasmus+ conditions (using EU distance calculator)
