To all whom it may concern,
I am writing you as the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (unibz) at the north of Italy, we are horrified by what you and the Ukrainian people are going through, and all our hearts are with you in these atrocious times.
I would like to share with you the possibility our University opened for supporting Ukrainian students, researchers, and professors in studying or teaching in our University and would be thankful if it is possible to spread this information amongst your colleagues and students.
The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano supports Ukrainian students, researchers, and professors, giving them access to study and teach, as follows:
Ukrainian students / BA-MA
• Possibility to directly enroll to specific courses.
• Full exemption from fees (enrollment, tuition)
• Further free enrolment to special language courses at the University Language Centre.
• A monthly financial support during the current semester of this academic year.
• Free meals at the university canteen.
• Free use the regional public transportation
+ In addition, the Provincial office of Education Support is making an effort to find free accommodation.
• Interested Ukrainian students would be interviewed by unibz professors of the specific degree programmes, approving the students' academic knowledge in the selected subject areas.
• All the above measures for students will apply until September 2022 and any extensions or changes will be considered at due time according to the development of the emergency situation.

Ukrainian students /Phd
• Ukrainian refugee PhD students can be accepted as Visiting PhDs to the PhD programmes of unibz and complete a research stay at unibz, provided that their research area corresponds to the research area of one of the unibz programmes.
• All the above support applies as well to the PhD students.

Ukrainian professors or researchers
• Invited as Visiting Professors for a maximum period of 6 months (until the end of September 2022). As well here, any extensions or changes will be considered at due time according to the development of the emergency situation.
• All the above support applies as well to the professors, with the below exception:
• The Ukrainian visiting professors would receive a payment of 1.000,00 € per month with the possibility to carry out teaching activities.
