Several dozen representatives of leading enterprises and organizations of Volyn, and even of Ukraine, gathered on May 23, 2023, at the Lutsk National Technical University, to tell about ourselves and meet with students and their future colleagues. The event joined many employers who are interested in involving young, active and promising specialists in the work process.
The event was solemnly opened by LNTU Rector Iryna Vakhovych.
She emphasized that such an event unites employers and students, allowing them to get to know each other, gain useful connections and open the way to career growth and new opportunities. "I am glad to welcome partners and employers to the walls of our HEI. LNTU is a University that dynamically moves forward and develops even despite the war. This is our mission because University also symbolizes a certain indomitability, like all Ukrainians. We understand the role of technical universities after the victory and the end of the war because University is the centre of innovation, competitiveness and development of the country. Today, our event unites employers, alumni and students, who have the opportunity to meet, communicate and find themselves in their careers. The technological development of a progressive country needs engineers and specialists with higher education, owners of their own businesses, so we aim to teach you to be brave and run your own entrepreneurial activity," the Rector said
She also added that students now have every opportunity to combine work and study, thanks to dual education. These practices exist and are actively used at LNTU, so Iryna Vakhovych wished the participants of the event good emotions from communication between students and employers and to draw useful connections from the created
The event takes place under the AccEnt project and with the support of the State Employment Service. Taras Semeniuk, Deputy Director of the Volyn Regional Employment Center, also gave a welcome speech. "Thank you for the opportunity to be here and to be a co-organizer of the event, it is especially exciting when you are an alumni of LNTU. The employment service works very actively, modernizes its work and focuses its activities on business support and youth employment. I hope that the event will be interesting and effective, and we thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for giving us the opportunity to work," said Taras Semeniuk
The event was moderated by the Acting head of the Educational and Scientific Centre “Volyn Business Hub” Olena Visyn. She noted that many employers who today represent powerful companies at LNTU are alumni of our university. Therefore, it is extremely pleasant to meet ex-students who are now successful specialists in their field and can share useful experiences with today's students.
During Business-Profi-Day, employers presented the companies and enterprises they lead or work for, talked about the specifics of their activities, production facilities, products they produce or services they provide, employment conditions for young people
It was interesting for students to learn about all the intricacies of employment in leading companies not only in the region but also in the country. They asked a lot of questions about the possibilities of professional self-realization and further career growth.
