On June 1, 2023, the conference «International Scientific Seminar - June 2nd, 2023 - Powered by VLAIO, E-lab Hogent & Xerius» was held as part of the project "Accelerating Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence in Higher Education Institutes" (AccEnt Project). Lecturers of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Logistics Prof. Oksana Polinkevych, Prof. Liubov Lipych, Associate Professor Yurii Fesina, Associate Professor Iryna Abramoba, Associate Professor Olena Zavadska took part in it.
At the conference topical issues of entrepreneurship, the problems of entrepreneurship, the role and importance of entrepreneurial systems, changes in the philosophy of entrepreneurship and management mechanisms in entrepreneurship were discussed.
It is critical to ensure that students receive an effective entrepreneurial education to prepare them for the highly complex and uncertain future environment.
Therefore, the promotion of widespread entrepreneurial behaviour is critical to promoting the overall prosperity and well-being of the nation. This puts effective entrepreneurship education on the priority agenda and requires a shift from "nice to have" to "necessity to have" in all (higher) education programs.
To ensure that each student has the maximum opportunity to hone entrepreneurial thinking (capability for entrepreneurial behaviour), the focus and unit of analysis in improving entrepreneurship educational effectiveness should accordingly shift to the lecturer's ability to stimulate higher levels of entrepreneurial learning in students through their training practice.
In the project-scientific approach, lecturers are considered "architects" of effective entrepreneurial education. This facilitates the transition to educational practice where the appropriate entrepreneurial learning method is used at the appropriate time. Thus, a scientific and research approach can become an interesting way to support lecturers in achieving effective entrepreneurship education.
