On June 21, 2022, the U-Multirank published the annual ranking of universities (U-Multirank-2022). 2202 universities from more than 100 countries of the world took part in it this year.
According to the U-Multirank annual international ranking of higher education institutions, Lutsk National Technical University strengthened its position and took 56th place among 93 Ukrainian universities!
LNTU has been a member of the ranking since 2019. Since then, the University as a whole and 6 specialities have been rated: "Agricultural engineering", "Business, trade and exchange activities", "Economics", "Building and civil engineering", "Electrical energetics, electrical engineering and electromechanics", "Social welfare".
In U-Multirank, all data are presented according to five categories: teaching + learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement.
This year, LNTU was ranked in two areas "Electrical Engineering" and "Civil Engineering", where it received high marks and established itself as a prestigious and competitive university.
Among the categories for which our University received the highest marks are: employment of graduates, internship opportunities for students, as well as cooperation with employers.
In addition, LNTU was assigned a logo and a profile in the system where the university is rated.
What is U-Multirank?
U-Multirank is a European ranking system whose basic aim is to provide transparency about the diversity of higher education institutions. Compared to other global rankings, U-Multirank provides information on a wide range of higher education institutions and enables the user to identify and compare institutions with similar profiles and missions.
The system looks at five dimensions: teaching & learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement. It combines institutional ranking (comparing whole institutions) and field-based rankings, based on individual disciplines. In contrast to other rankings, U-Multirank is user-driven: it leaves the decision on the relevance of individual indicators to users.
