On June 19-24, the Pole StartUp Summer School was held at LNTU, organized as part of the Pole StarUp Incubator activity in partnership with the Volyn Regional Junior Academy of Sciences, Lutsk City Council, NGO “Institute of Transborder Initiatives”, YEP Incubators and the Ukrainian Startup Fund. Thus, upon completion of the main part, Rector of LNTU Iryna Vakhovych, director of the Volyn Regional Junior Academy of Sciences Tetiana Mykhailiuk and director of the charity "Tilky razom" Kateryna Shklod congratulated the students on the successful completion of their studies and awarded certificates with gifts.
This event took place under the project "Accelerating Innovation and Entrepreneurial Excellence in Higher Education Institutes" (AccEnt Project), financed by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT).
More than 20 students of the Volyn Regional Junior Academy of Sciences, the Volyn Scientific Lyceum and Lutsk schools completed a course of informal education on the basics of innovative entrepreneurship and startup project management. In total, the participants presented 8 startup projects at 2 levels - the basic level, as well as the preseed stage with a business model justification.
According to the results of the Pole StartUp Summer School, separate specialized incubation sessions will be held at LNTU for all 8 teams.
