Since 2020, LNTU has implemented the project "Boosting the role of HEIs in the industrial transformation towards the Industry 4.0 paradigm in Georgia and Ukraine" in the framework of Erasmus+ КА2 CBHE: 2020 – 2023. The goal of the project is to reinforce the role of HEIs in assisting industrial transformation in Georgia and Ukraine under the Industry 4.0 paradigm.
From September 26 to 29, 2023, academic staff from universities in Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, Ukraine, and Georgia are participating in an educational visit to KU Leuven. LNTU is represented by the Head of the Department of Materials Science, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Mykola Melnychuk, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. of the Department of Materials Science Oksana Sadova and Head of the Department of Management, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Prof. Natalia Vavdiyuk.
The programme included educational trainings and a coordination meeting on September 27-28, 2023 at KU Leuven (Ghent, Belgium). During the coordination meeting, working issues related to financial and academic reporting in the project were agreed upon. The LNTU team also agreed on a draft agreement between LNTU and KU Leuven, which will provide an additional opportunity for individual mobility grants for LNTU students and academic staff in 2023/2024.
According to the programme of the event, the participants were trained in the laboratories: lab Logistics for e-commerce and creative makers lab.
